  • SSC recruits for following posts every year:

Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBPF, SSB and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF

Tentative dates are (based on 2015 dates):
Adv. Date: 28 March
Last date: 28 April
Exam date: 21 June. Two exams on same day

  • Age Limit: minimum 20 years and maximum 25 years as on 1st January of the year.


  • Education: any degree.

For Delhi Police, driving license (LMV) is mandatory.

Selection process: written examination, Personal interview test, medical test

Questions in paper 1
General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50
General Knowledge and General Awareness- 50
Quantitative Aptitude - 50
English Comprehension - 50

Questions in paper 2
English language and Comprehension - 200

Physical test:
For male candidates:
100 meters race in 16 seconds
1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
Long Jump : 3.65 meters in 3 chances
High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 chances
